More skillpoints?

Hello,

Am I the only one, or are there others who would also need more skill points (around 10 points)? I play merc and I always have too few skill points, no matter whether it's for totems or creatures or for something new.... Level 100 is almost impossible, even though I'm level 97, but the 3 skill points wouldn't satisfy me.

Some ideas maybe?

More skill points would be nice. Since the passive tree is so overly stocked with useless crap, and some builds sort of really need one or more nodes further away, it would definitely help.

But to be frank, i feel they should weed out all the junk from the tree and focus on making it less dense, with more useful nodes all-around.

More points seems a bit like a band-aid

Don't think we need more skill points but I'd rather have a better connection between the different areas of the tree. A "fast travel" route to lets say have a warrior travel all the way from bottom left to upper right of the tree and get EV/ES nodes would be cool.

Fast travel route or fly over route would be very useful thing, especially when passive points are dust in the wind


Of course with new Acts it still needs 1-6 more passives for some builds.

i hit 96. and i gave-up to get more levels because it takes alot of time, i have no stomach for that, xp rate is terrible.

the main problem of this game is the passive tree, lacks of toughness. no life/ max life.

i play minions infernalist. i cant find an apropriate location to use jewels.

i think this dv team shold leave, because they ruined game enough.

Lack of toughness? For who? I hope you're not talking about your witch since witches can easily get like 10k ES, lol.

And most builds will have 3-5 jewel slots available depending on how spread out their pathings are. Jewels are incredibly powerful and there's a reason why GGG removed the overall number of them and that's a good thing. If we want moe jewel slots again then they'd have to change all the jewel affix values (incl. the unique ones) to accomodate for that.

Kaiserrage is right. He mentioned the lack of life being on the tree. And if you haven't played a minion build, try it. It sucks. Since all your power is going to come from minion tree nodes and gear with +minion skills, build diversity is totally nonexistent.
