Unreachable Atlas Maps

Why is this? Same character, same Atlas map, already 2 maps like this, the 1st shows a path to it but it won't light up OR be selected in any way, the 2nd will probably get enhanced by a tower wasting it's influence. Nothing I can do about them. I spent days pathing around towers, clearing bad maps, finding ways to maximixe towe influence and then this... Come on.

I've also ran into maps that had a path on screen, but couldn't access it. Definitely bugged.

Sometimes there are too many connections on screen. I've heard that if you finish a few other connections, that connection will open up. idk though
