Map Deaths only count on one character

not sure if this is the intention, but I ran a map and died enough to lose all portals, logged into another character and was able to reenter the map.

All the portals were intact.

Were you able to actually complete it, though?

I usually play as a duo. If I die and lose all the portals, but my partner finishes the map while I'm at the hideout, I still need to redo the map to progress on atlas, even if he completed the content.

I was able to complete it. I wanted to test it out. I died on my lvl 81, logged into my lvl 91 and finished it out.
