unplayable due to lag

Hello,

I just returned after a little break and thought it was a good time to jump back into PoE2.

I only got through the tutorial area before I started having network spikes and the game became unplayable.

Googling this I found a lot of people have had same issues but no fixes. I've tried all the solutions I could find but doesn't help. It must be a network spike issue as, in game, I can see the network is stable at 28ms and then spikes every 1-3 seconds.

I don't have this issue in other other game and I'm using a cable so it's not a wifi issue.

This must be an issue with the servers? if so, is this being looked into? if not, please help as I'm out of ideas for what the issue can be.

ye, the wild thing is, I had no issues last time I played but now it somehow got worse.

I really want to get back to playing the game but no point until this is sorted and I cannot find anything public from GGG on the issue.

The Hong Kong and Singapore servers have been trash the last few days.

I managed to resolve my issue. Keep in mind that the internet for the most part, seemed fine at my house. It's just that poe2 was unplayable due to the constant freezes and time warps. My router was getting old, so I decided to upgrade it, but it didn't help at all. I ran all kinds of internet tests online, speed test, jitter test, stability test, etc. Most of the time the tests seemed to return ok results, but sometimes the results were very bad. I have Spectrum internet and used their automated text support to see if it could help. I talked to an AI bot and it tried resetting my modem, which made things run better for a few minutes, but then went bad again. I went and ran all the tests again, over and over. Finally, I got the bot to check my signals after I told it that resetting my modem didn't help and bypassing my router didn't help. The bot was able to detect that something was off with my signal and offered to send a tech. A tech came out and fixed it in 30mins. It turns out there was a wiring/connection issue at my house that was randomly causing interference with the modem and screwing up my connection. The game runs like butter now. Hope this helps someone else because it was very annoying.

this issue is happening in most regions, it doesn't matter how good your internet is, you'll lag everytime you move
but because no streamer complained about it GGG refuses to say or do anything about it
