Temporal Chains overriding Despair

I have Temporal Chains on Blasphemy and I apply Despair manually. Whenever I apply Despair the debuff is shown on the enemy, but when I get close temporal chains aura just overrides the despair debuff.

Do not know if this was intentional, but before I saw both curses active on enemies.

I just ran into this problem too. Figured its because you can only have one curse on an enemy at once, which is why Whispers of Doom keystone exists.(poe2)
