skill gem bug

My skill bugged out — it's not because of insufficient stats or anything. It started happening after I set up weapon swapping between primary and secondary weapons. Now only the "Blood Hunt" skill doesn't work. When I replace it with a new Blood Hunt skill gem, it suddenly shows damage and becomes usable again. But once I remove it, the issue comes back. Also, if I change my passive tree and temporarily lose the required stats, the skill immediately becomes unusable too.

I'm experiencing a persistent bug affecting my character’s skill system, and it seems to be related to Blood Magic and possibly the Blood Mage ascendancy passive.

Problem Summary:
After enabling weapon swapping (between main-hand and off-hand), my "Blood Hunt" skill stopped functioning entirely.

This is not due to stat requirements — my attributes are sufficient.

When I socket a new "Blood Hunt" gem, it works temporarily (displays damage and can be used). But removing and re-equipping any gem causes it to break again.

Now, no skill gem I equip works at all — they don’t activate or deal damage.

In the skill bar and skill panel, every skill slot incorrectly displays "Longspear Throw", regardless of what gem is equipped.

After respec'ing all my passive points and removing Blood Mage, the issue persists — even with a completely clean passive tree.

Furthermore, when placing any skill gem into my setup, the skill panel still shows the Blood Mage ascendancy icon, as if the passive is stuck or overlapping with other skill functionality.

Temporary stat loss (e.g. when respec'ing a node) also immediately disables affected skills, even after the stats are restored.

Suspected Cause:
It seems that the Blood Mage passive effect may be bugged, either:

Overlapping with other skill slot logic,

Not properly removed when respecced,

Or conflicting with how Blood Magic interacts with gem activation and UI display (especially in combination with weapon swap).

Please let me know if I should provide character logs, a video recording, or any specific steps to help reproduce this issue.

and my suspicion is on Blood Mage ascendancy
