Performance is truly unacceptable

Yes, another thread because it's justified considering the severity of the issue.

It's a shame really because the game is super fun to play and super responsive. Gameplay in general is very dialed in. Best in class I'd say. The performance though is the party pooper. It literally makes me not wanting to play and in fact, I play much less because of this. I bet I'm not alone in this.

Honourable mention to all the audio issues with the constant clicks and pops everywhere in the game which I guess are tied to the performance issues somehow.

Idk guys. We get updates and entire blog posts for relatively minor things like balance but this is not getting addressed? I think we should have some sort of update on this. Like, is it solvable? Or should we wait for PS6?

I dont think they can change the engine as much as would be necessary to make the game work on perfomance mode with every bit of quality disabled, let alone think about using quality mode.
Dialing down on the amount of visuals would of course be possible, but strictly out of question considering how it was for all the years since PoE1 exists: always more, never less.

I like to be surprised positively, but my doubts are as strong as adamantium on this topic.

PoE 2 may be a PS6 game then. Because it's just not truly playable on PS5.
