Ascendancy points bugged

I completed my sekhemas trial for 5th and 6th points but every time I interact with the altar, I have 0 points. The tooltip says to click for ascendancy points but there's nothing in my skill tree. It even says click to allocate when I hover over my skills but there's no points to spend. I'm seeing this being an issue for a lot of people too.
