Sometimes can't loot with a controller on PC

I play with a controller on PC and ever since this patch occasionally I will lose my ability to loot ever since 2g. No interact (A) button will pop up when I'm near items on the ground.

The items will still highlight when I get near them, but no A prompt and hitting A regardless does nothing.

Picking up gold as I walk over it still works.

Same problem here, have to exit to character select screen to fix it.

I feel like most of the time it starts after activating a strongbox. Maybe specifically ones that freeze your character?

Maybe it has something to do with things not being properly cleared from charm activations as I've seen other threads where people complain about being unable to use skills after charm gets rid of freeze.
