Normal Act 3 Silverfist not dropping passive points

I am using a thorns build and i made a mistake and died when i thought the boss was dead. Silvedfist seemed to be alive on my death screen, but when i respawned and killed him he did not drop the 2 passive points. Is there a way to reset the fight or do i need to delete my character and start over? My character is a Level 36 Warbringer

Try asking npcs, maybe ggg thought about such scenario happening and they allowed npcs to give missing points

That's actually a great idea, but i just checked with all of the NPCs i can chat with. Gwendolyn Albright at the Troubled Camp and everyone in the Ziggurat Encampment and none of them had anything to offer.
