Jiquani's Machinarium - traveling to sanctum checkpoint behind closed door

In Jiquani's Machinarium, I traveled from one checkpoint to the checkpoint near the door to Jiquani's Sanctum,
it put me on the other side of the door even though I didn't open it yet.
