Character frozen after cull the weak

After using cull the weak to execute Mektul, the Forgemaster my character was frozen. He had just started to run to start the phase where he walks through the magma. I was able to drop items but unable to move or perform any other actions including Town Portal or picking up items. Exiting to character select and immediately re-entering resolved the issue.
