Server crash during corrupted nexus map results in no portal and failed map

I attempted a corrupted nexus today and the server crashed or whatever.
When I logged back in, I got this error message: "No instances found".

I don't know if the server considered it dying, but I still should have
another portal since I have two attempts. To my surprise there is no
portal and the corrupted nexus map is marked as attempted.

Disconnects on other maps, that aren't corrupted nexus, usually just
give me back my portals. By the way, as I'm writing this message after the
fact, there were three other disconnects again with the same message and
a new "operation timed out". Good thing I didn't start another map :)

Edit:
Forgot to mention that I didn't have any loot from that map in my inventory, that's why I suspected it wasn't considered a death.
The map had rituals, a breach and a boss. I was done with the rares and rituals and was one screen away from the breach.
