Glacial bolt skill gem problem with connecting with mobs/bosses

There something seriously wrong with the glacial bolt skill(the one that creates ice walls), there are numerous mobs which when target does not explode the walls, but just got pushed around with them, which is annoying, but you can handle it more or less.

The main problems are the bosses, the one in hidden grotto/forge/one of the forest/hot springs(the snake boss) you can not damage them like 90%+ of the time unless you get lucky/random angle that the walls connects with them.

Would be great if you look at this, otherwise it is another interesting skill that cant be used....
