Steaming Spring waypoint crash - unable to load into game

I know there is an issue with this map where you can't exit the arena after clearing the boss so i completed all the rares. However I used the waypoint shortcut to fast travel to the entrance of the arena and now I am stuck on the load screen.

The exception message is:

I've tried rebooting the game and it doesn't resolve the issue.
Currently perma stuck on the loading screen with this error.
