Bugged Ritual Altar in Copper Citadel

I died in a ritual altar near the start of the copper citadel map and when I respawned, I couldn't get back into the ritual event or continue on in the map. I have a feeling it was because of the proximity of the waypoint to the ritual altar but not sure. Either way it is super unfortunate because it effectively bricks my copper citadel map!
