Can't gain ascension points

New character, ranger.
Skipped sekhemas trial and did chaos trial first(quest key). was able to get my ascendancy and 2 points.
Went to sekhemas with question key, finished it but can't click on statue to get 2 points, can't click on portal to leave.
Logged out and then in, did the trial again, still can't click on ascendancy statue and get the message "rewards for trial already claimed" when trying to open chests with keys.
