Trial of sehkmas isnt giving ascendancy points

i completed trial of chaos first, then after this patch went back to complete sehkmas but when i got to the end i cant interact with the altar or even the exit portal

What's going on?
Why did dozens of players start posting bug reports that they completed Trial of Chaos in Act 3 and then went to Trial of Sekhemas in Act 2? To get the 2nd Ascendancy you need Djinn Baria lvl 45+ with 2 floors. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3763198#p26098354 |

"https://www.xbox.com/play/media/gFMg9wyLBJ could it be that you cant enter a trial 2 barya without completing a trial 1? if yes then maybe thats apart of the problem. when i run the trial 1 barya you get from act 2, it never actually completes. balbala just gives me another one at the starting altar. |

Did you complete two floors? Did Balbala have any dialogue options?
The portal and altar not being active is definitely a bug. Someone wrote here that he fixed it by refunding Ascendancy passives from Balbala and resetting the class at the altar after that. Then he chose a new (same) class at the altar and got Ascendancy points. I don't know if that will work. |

" So found a bandaid fix. I started a trial 2 barya, got to the end of trial 1 and then left it entirely. I had to put my act 2 quest barya in, then when I completed it the trial 2 barya returned to my inventory. the trial 2 barya doesn't allow you to be placed back into the ascendancy room but instead forces you into the trial 2 to which you can then complete for your second ascendancy |
