Temporal rift bug

The termporal rift skill from the Chronomancer ascendacy does not work if i slot more than one support gem that reserves spirit in any persistent spirit skill.
I have the termporal rift skill and the convalescence skill both active with sufficient spirit.
If i put more than 2 spirit reserving gems in any of the two persistent skill at the same time the temporal rift skill does not go off even if the skill seems active and the images are created behind me.
The moment i have only one spirit reserving gems in each of the 2 persistent skill the temporal rift works normally.
I do have sufficient spirit this bug happens even if i have 15 spirit left to reserve.
