Rake/Bleed Huntress -- Any tech, how are you guys approaching survivability?

I am playing rake + spearfield, focusing mainly on crit damage multi, pumping strength for stomping ground on rake. I have 80% evasion and 34% block, only 1.7kHP though res are all capped. Outside of more HP, what can I even get as a defensive layer?

I was using time of need, but I don't think it's great by itself. Svallin is an option but a huge DPS loss over the accuracy shield. I diverted to the leech nodes on the bottom of the tree, and those have helped tremendously while clearing.

Just wondering what you guys are using to survive red maps and beyond as a EV based melee build

I aint there yet in 0.2 but saw a great post on reddit about the subject of Evasion lategame, it was posted today I think.

Acrobatics makes it so evasion can procc vs AOE, normal evasion cant, but its extremly pricy.

If you dont want to get any other kind of defensive layer I would say get your blockrating up, it dont help vs big hits, aoes etc, but you should be able to get it to 75% ish, even if it means taking glancing hit etc, that it only blocks 90% of incoming damage.

There is also some ways to make like % of physical damage taken converted to fire etc, so if you have 75% resistance to that, its like a free great layer of protection.
What helps me most is to also invest in spirit to have 2 beasts. Ritualist helps to boost the amulet spirit and ring defenses. I have one with elemental aura, and another with periodic invincibility but I might change that one. They also distract bosses and monsters, which is very underrated. Also the companion nodes for extra defenses and attack in their presence, since getting two beasts means they also cut your defenses. The minion support that takes 10% of damage from their HP also does it. One beast has inherent armor break so that helps with offense too.

Also doing rake with disengage as a repeatable 1,2 combo since repeatedly using rake doesn't help and leaves you vulnerable. Instead adding momentum or close combat, and adding stomping ground to disengage since it's damage based on your str so it's always the same, which leads another empty slot to add more damage to rake. Spearfield with rage, envenom, and lacerate. Bloodhunt for culling and single targets. Bushwhack boots to pin with spearfield is nice for small monsters in mobs. Also carrying an armor/evasion shield.
Impatience is insatiable.
