My game freeze

When im on map my screen freeze for about 10sec and after thats the screen come black (i have all mt back ground ok like health mana skill ect) with a gear rolling for about 15sec but i have to play at the same time because i dont wana die and i cant pause the game.
after thats my map have reset so i cant now where is my progression
it started at the last patch

This same thing happens to me as well. I'll be playing normally then the entire game will randomly freeze and the loading gears will show up after a few seconds then I have to wait for it to catch up. The entire instance map will remove itself but the gameplay will resume normally after it freezes.

I've tried changing from Texas gateway to Washington DC, but the issue remains. Im testing changing from DX12 to Vulkan to see if there's any difference.

same here and I already try alot of things but nothing happens, continue to freeze and back after some seconds... I play since season 1 and never had any crash, erros or some stuffs like that and this app yesterday, really sad!

Any solutions to this problem yet? Been dying alot because of this problem, black screen but monsters are moving in the background while only their hp bar visible.

I know this is a long time after the original post but I have this same exact issue but the freeze also occurs on PoE 1. I have a video clip of it happening but don't know who would want to view it.

Yeah, looks like after the last update the game freeze constantly. Before that it was running smoothly.
Now I'm stuck at "the Ruined Square". I can't progress anymore, it freeze after few second - minutes..
