Which Witch to scratch my itch?

Hi all,
I’ve yet to play the Witch and I’m looking to replicate a similar playstyle of the Fissure ability in Last Epoch.
I play this style somewhat unconventionally as place down the Fissure (ability that puts done a fissure that attacks random enemies within its area) and then I melee at the mobs to generate mana.
I’m not a big fan of minions, as I can’t see what’s going on when the screen is massively cluttered with lots of moving mobs/minions, though I wouldn’t mind a minion build if it had only 1 or maybe 2 minions in it.

Does anyone have a similar build? I’ve not gotten any uniques so far since the 2.0 launch, as I don’t appear to be very lucky in PoE2! I’ve been enjoying the huntress and warrior but I’d like to try something a little different.
