Ravenous doubts + consuming questions not working?

If I understand correctly, ravenous doubts works now on all hit abilities no matter what (as long it isnt a dot). But it seems that I cannot regain any energy shield from abilities like: ball lightning, lightning warp, fireball...
Not sure if I misread something, but the wording seems to me like it should work?

So I noticed with melee that if I didn't lose mana to force mana leech the shield didn't move (so mind over matter was clearly needed)

I've read "hit" as spells and attacks but yeah not working with any spells (forced with mind over matter to test that mana was never maxed out and still not doing anything).

Intended or bugged? Unsure but the wording is wrong regardless

This isn't working with Lightning Spear either.

As previously mentioned, ES doesn't appear to increase if Mana is already full. In other words, the skills are rather literal "Mana leech effects also apply to energy shield". If no mana is leeching, then no effect on ES.

If that's indeed the correct implementation, then I have to say it's even worse than in 0.1.0. At least in 0.1.0 I could make a physical build and have some powerful sustain.

Right now in 0.2.0, these nodes are trash. If they only work when I path all over the passive tree to get MoM, then it's junk. Put MoM into the ascendency nodes if that was the intent.
