Fatal error in Metadata/Monsters/SwarmHost/SwarmHost@18: Number of shared states is different on client and server!
When I switch maps in chapter 3, this one error occurs and I can't access this character anymore, all other characters are fine, my character is Nicotinetrue, please fix it as soon as possible! The standard alliance characters and the new ones are fine, but only that charater stuck on the Ruins map. Each time you login in,the exe will crash and report this.

Suspect the bug has something to do with the Huntress' skill of turning elite monsters into partners. This problem occurred when I entered the next level with a freshly harvested beetle.

same issue here, I indeed had a elite monsters turned into partners. I'm unable to play again. Tried to check if any file is corrupted through steam, it says everything is fine, but everytime i try to log in with that character i get this error

I also got a similar error with my Monk character using a "Tamed Beast" Etched Beetle:
Fatal error in Metadata/Monsters/EtchedBeetles/MediumEdtchedBeetleArmouredTuskWideSanctumTrial@30: Number of shared states is different on client and server! Delta: 73 For now, every time I try to log in with this character, my game crashes with this error. In my case, I might be okay after 15 minutes when my Map resets, we'll see. |

Update! I waited out the 15 minutes for the map to reset. I was able to log back into my Monk character, but lost my portal to the map.
I just experienced the bug again for the second time today, and I think I know when it is triggered. This time, when I went through the portal back to town, my companion was in the middle of de-materializing (with the blue glow forming aroudn them). As it is, it seems like playing without companions is going to be necessary for now if you don't want to randomly lose progress on your maps. Either that, or being more careful about when you step through the portal, making sure your companion is healthy and present. |
