Temple of chaos - stuck position after blink near pedestal/elevetor

Has happened to me twice, once I accidentally blinked onto one of the monster elevator pedestals and could not get back to the playing area.
Second time (round 9, vaal statue challenge), I accidentally blinked onto the exit ramp at the top of the still at the bottom exit pedestal before the statue had completed it's journey and could not get back down to the playing area.
