BIG issue! Pressing 'Shift' over nodes shows 'No affect' for almost all Ammunition/Grenade Skills
Upon further testing, it is clear DPS increases from the Skill Tree do not affect Ammunition Skills. Specifically, only the 'Basic Bolt' is impacted by those increases yet that Bolt alone is ineffective.
Grenade Skills, however, DO benefit from DPS scaling through the Skill Tree (also confirmed through further testing). Nodes like 'Finishing Blows' and 'Stars Aligned' explicitly state that they do not interact with Ammunition Skills despite the fact that those Skills count as a 'Hit' (excluding any DoT effects). Additionally, nodes such as 'Crushing Judgement' and 'Cruel Methods' also show 'No affect' on Ammunition Skills when you hold down 'Shift'. Interestingly, Grenade Skills DO interact with nodes like 'Finishing Blows,' 'Stars Aligned,' 'Crushing Judgement,' and 'Cruel Methods' even though tooltips indicate they do not. This discrepancy between what the game displays and the actual synergy is misleading! My tests show that the DPS for Grenade Skills increases when those Skill Tree nodes are active, which contradicts the tooltip information. Conclusion: The game currently does not display accurate information regarding which Skills synergize with certain Skill Tree nodes. The DPS increases for Grenade Skills, however, ARE affected by Skill Tree nodes (contrary to what is shown in the tooltips). Current Build Setup Overview: Incendiary Shot Links: Fire Infusion, Ignition, Eternal Flame, Execute, and Magnified Effect (previously using Nimble Reload in place of Magnified Effect). Note: The 'Execute' Support Gem provides a 'more' Damage multiplier that synergizes well with the 'Finishing Blows' and 'Stars Aligned' Skill Tree notables. Permafrost Bolts Links: Double Barrel, Chain, Cold Penetration, and Glaciation. Note: I am using the 'Grip of Winter' unique gloves, especially in the early game, for additional Freeze Buildup.
