is it just me or king of the mists white dots get you to a deadend?

Ive had paths that were really hard to see, but never a dead end.
Luckily if you get stuck in the maze the #1 survival strat works for this stage of the boss fight: log out. can re-enter portal and go straight to next phase of boss fight. "Beidat honored the pact, though Mancy wouldn't take off Doryani’s prototype."
