Lightning Warp on console

I can't seem to get lightning warp to work on console/ or controller. Any ideas? Obviously on mouse and key board you can aim at the ball lightning and hit lightning warp to tele towards it.

Skill plays terrible on console. GGG please set it up so it behaves like PC. I should not zip around all directions when I want to cyclone in one spot. This would make the skill actually usable. Thank you.
