Game Campaign Needs To Be Casual Gamer Friendly

Hi,

After playing the POE 2 campaign through a couple of times on various different builds the game seems a bit overtuned in some areas, especially the bosses. Some of the bosses I could not beat unless I came back ridiculously overleveled and buffed out to the max. The game campaign needs to be playable for the average player with average gear. Leave the endgame, ssf, and hardcore to the people who want an extra challenge. It's not fun to have a boss one shot you with every single one of their moves when you are the same level as the zone and you have decent gear. I have been playing POE 1 for almost nine years so I am used to having to master boss mechanics. POE is my favourite game and I would like to see new players enjoy it as well.

Uhh no.

Seriously you cant figure out a boss? Why are you even playing a video game? Just go look for the i-win button somewhere. I have lots of critique on POE2 but making it easier isnt one of them. In fact its customers like you that want it easy that have made Diablo IV so boring and easy. Try doing something other than face tanking the boss. learn the moves the boss makes, his telegraphs and queues. I beat every boss in the campaign on an SSF warrior encountering them as fast as I could get through the campaign and I am a 54 year old man, not some young kid with super reflexes.
I leveled all 6 chars to at least Cruel diff, some to endgame.
And I did this in SSF mode for each one, never used items stored in chest - that is - only what I found with a particular character. And I'm not a boss fight fan to be honest, I hate doing that as an endgame goal in ARPGs for exampl, I don't play souls games, I don't like them.

However, I really enjoyed POE2 boss fights. They are doable with gear you find along the way and XP you get along the way. Sometimes you need many tries, yes. If you are familiar with the fight, 1-3 tries are enough to beat them.

The only overtuned boss is Snake Lady in Vaal city. Some characters leveled this way have hard time beating her. But with enough tries even she is doable (on the brink of ragequit, but still).
Some builds are going to be too weak to deal with some content, this is accurate. I have had this happen even though I've taken every class through the campaign at least once, and a few times more. For some builds it was too easy, for a few, it was really hard. But that was more a problem with the build I was running and it was quickly fixed when I adjusted and grabbed a few skills I didn't plan on using in the long run. I overall think the campaign balance isn't that bad right now, bar a few oneshot attacks that can be a bit jarring if you get caught out on.
I mostly disagree here. Yes some bosses are a bit overtuned, but i was able to beat all of them at the correct normal level. Without using any trading.

I criticise the Boss design since my first playthrough, its just bad. They need to improve the bosses a lot. The design of many of them is just inferior.

Player issue. Difficulty is good, cruel could be more challenging.
you can play Sims4, that is your difficult level

please dont make PoE2 easier (Campaign).
