Takes up a lot of skill slots for "attack" builds
"Attack" builds for Herald of Ice, Thunder, and Ash require a significant number of skill slots to support monster clearing, whereas spell builds, such as Spark Stormweaver, can achieve the same goal with fewer skill slots. This issue becomes particularly problematic when transitioning from farming monsters to boss battles and vice versa, as it necessitates the use of specific skills for support. It is even more of a nightmare when playing with a gamepad. In contrast, builds such as Spark Stormweaver merely require you to activate and deactivate spirit skills, or alternatively, configure each weapon independently. In general, "attack" builds complicate and limit customization a lot. I am playing the Monk HOWA stack; my wife is playing Stormweaver. Whenever I fight a boss or change content, I have to ask my wife to wait for me to change skills appropriately; it is very time-consuming and loses emotion. Those who have maxed out their equipment may find the adjustment easier, but those with enough power and many skills to change have a big problem. I am quite bored with this problem and want to switch to Infernalist when there is a new update or new league.

No worries my friend, knowing GGG you will be using only Herald of Ash next patch since Ice and Thunder will be nerfed to the ground and it wont be worth using it, but smile since it will take at least one more month until they release the update.

I've ran into this issue as well.
My spell casting builds have 2-3 empty slots for skills going unused. But my melee character has every slot packed and needs to swap 2 out depending on bossing/clearing. |
