Game stutters - pauses and resumes continually

My game seems to stutter - it says game paused for a split second, then resumes and goes back and forth about 5 or 6 times on occasion.

I checked my graph and see spikes in the white line. Does this mean it's server or connection related lag?


I've tried some other servers but it still keeps happening. I followed a tutorial on how to optimize my Nvidia drivers and do a clean install, delete shaders etc, but it still seems to do this.

Just hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction. I'm connecting wirelessly, but I'm very close to the router and nobody else is online at the moment.

I am running a Ryzen 9 7950 and a Nvideo Geforce RTX 4090 so I should have plenty of power. I have frames capped at 143 (one below my monitor's max) and bloom set to 25% as suggested online.

Any help would be appreciated.
