Please hire someone to work on coop...

I've already lost most of my friends to attrition of different hangups about endgame and now it's getting worse...

The 1 death forces the person to sit and wait for the others to finish the map or just give up on it, as well as the different map mechanics like Ritual don't let the others take over if the host died...

And now there is some hangup/bug with portals showing up if the person created the map before/in a different instance like the guild hub or their own hub and if they hop in no one else can see the portals if they were not in that zone at the moment, the portals show up when they leave tho...
And worse this also persists if the host dies and you exit to empty inventory and portals are gone...
You can see hosts portals if you travel to their hideout but they don't function as in you can't click on them... and once again if they leave the map then you can see and click on portals once again...

I duno maybe I'm mistaken but it feels like you either don't have anyone testing/working on coop or just don't care about it...

They want the game to be antisocial. It's very clear in their directions. Hope they chose to consider playing this with a coworker or something at some point.

I guess that never occurred to them while developing the game. :^)
PoE multiplayer was always bad. And with later zoomification it became horrible. As zoomification happened to POE2, it seems multiplayer will be horrible in POE2 as well.
I am curious if they played in groups at all, especially without their dev tools. That, or it's intentionally designed to be anti-coop. I am a GGG defender, but the coop aspect of this game is killing it for me.

It is even more surprising taking into consideration the fact that good multiplayer is a huge selling factor for MTX.
