Bug logging in my Pathfinder closes game

PC/Controller
Latitude 5420, Intel Iris GPU, PS4 Controller, external 1080p monitor, 64GB RAM

I can no longer log in with my Pathfinder. The program crashes with a pair of errors. The first one is:

Unrecognized task serialised by server; missing registration?

It is then covered up by a second message which reads:

PathOfExile.exe

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is
available.
-----

The second one gives me two options of either "Debug" or "Close Program". Sadly, the mouse stops working, but if I press Alt+Tab, I return to the desktop, and then the mouse works again.

I can connect my Sorceress just fine. My Pathfinder is trying to enter Cruel Deshar after having returned the letter, which is how to first crash happened. I have tried this several times.

Update: I did finally get back in. Then the same friend (playing on a PS5) joined my party, and I tried to warp to his instance again, and the game crashed again.

I'm thinking it's related to some issue playing with a PC player and a PS5 player. The issue seems to be related to Deshan, but what do I know. He came to me, instead, and that worked. I've ported to him before, so that it's not working now is a bit baffling, but we worked around it.
