95% of the game you play lacks chase items and is boring.

There is your problem. Simple as that. Maps have nothing good in them and are just a chore because the best thing you're gonna get is a divine orb. ... fun /s

Get more useful uniques outside of pinnacle bosses.

How do you keep them rare? Make them function core crafting items with a wide array of usability and manipulation.

The base item itself should be an excellent neutral item for most builds. Like high MF / survivability or + skills. Something that most people will seek out for freshly leveled characters.

If they made this change tomorrow I assure you that everyone would stop complaining instantly.

You see it's all about virtual shopping.

If there is no loot you don't need to balance it.
If all mobs are random you don't need to balance it.
If only names drop loot you don't need to balance it.

This is an Early Access game that people paid money for, so yes, they have a right to gripe. Was NOT free to play.
Its not just uniques...its ALL itemization.

And the trade system. This issue has been solved for at least 15 years - just put in a damn AH already.
