Why slam totems do not interact with your volcanic fissure?

Ok. Development team, I'd wish for your explanation at how you could miss the fact, that Volcanic Fissure, created by you, is unaffected by slams from your totems (like Ancestral Totem with Sunder) and vice versa? I hope, that you do realize, that this kind of interaction is the only possible way for the Volcanic Slam to be even REMOTELY useful? Or you expect us to proc Volcanic's aftershocks ourselves? NO ONE WILL DO THAT. EVER.
Please, consider making our totems be able to interact with our fissures. I would hate to see warrior being shafted even more, than he already is, with making his toolkit being even less synergized. Not even to mention, that you make this gorgeous looking skill obsolete, and thus, not taken into any build.
