Waypoints on world map perhaps?

Can we get placeable waypoints/tags we can use on the world map? Then have a dropdown window of the waypoints we've placed, that we can click on, and the screen would jump to that location. We can add notes to our waypoints or name them... like "2 wandering merchants here" or "Compton L.A".

I really didn't think I travelled that far and I'm only on T15's, but scrolling around noticing I went quite a way out. Anyways really having fun in the game.
