The 'well'

I placed the 'well' in my hideout. Something seemed a bit off with it, but I did not worry. Today I had a closer look... and it is corrupted as f.

Or maybe the responsible art designer has a lack of understanding, what the purpose of a well is, and how it functions.

There is a winch with a rope into the well. The dimensions are a bit strange , but thats still OK. Then we see a bucket... but it is not connected to the rope but floating besides it. But the biggest question is: Why is there even a winch when the waterlevel is above ground?
