Endgame and all random AoE damage and such causing monster mods
I don't like the fact that in endgame (excluding bosses) you mostly die to some random blasts damage and not direct monster's attacks or projectile spells. In my opinion you should nerf all that AoE "crap" in favor for monster direct damage, which can be in turn boosted to compensate.
Second thing - shields. Shields need a boost - by default with raised shield, you should negate all blockable hits damage and around 50% or at least 30% dmg less of all damage from non blockable hits regardless of type and direction (excluding DoT). DoT should be the only thing that shields do not guard against. If you then take glancing blows keystone, that damage mitigation rate can e.g. be lowered, for example like this: 1) passive block - 50% damage taken 2) raise shield - 75% damage taken (because here you have 100% block chance anyway) or alternatively - raise shield with glancing blows can simply have 75% block chance instead of 100% 3) unblockable hits with raised shield - 50% more damage taken compared to not having glancing blows For now it is kinda stupid that there are many cases in which you e.g. fortify yourself with shield wall then raise shield or use any skill that blocks all incoming blockable hits and get zerged to some random stupid AoE damage from ritual or volatile chaos mod. Third thing - make Evasion and Armour stronger compared to ES. They should be balanced, not how it is currently that in case of AR/EV, life stacking + reses and overcapped reses gets more important than defences. AR could additionally give some small damage reduction agains all AoE damage regardless type (chaos and all ele). Evasion could by default give small spell suppression chance (50% less spell damage taken) or even smaller spell dodge chance based on your EV rating and area/monster level. So with same EV rating - higher area or higher monster/boss level will reduce your chance. Acrobatics keystone then would then greatly raise the spell suppression/dodge plus allow to evade non evadeable attacks at the cost of penalty to overall EV rating.
