Trial of Sekhemas

While playing two player local, we entered the last trial round sharing an honor bar with slightly over half health. My partner died with us having despite over 300 honour.. I could not continue to play as the exit button did not work and lowered our health bar to 91 before leaving. As we tried to go back to defeat the final boss, my partner died upon entry to the room where you activate the trial. After that happened we restarted the game only to have the same problem occur again but this time with me dying upon entry as well. What do we do? also when I played online players had individual honour bar while local we shared one. Did they play an a part ?
