Pinnacle Boss Access

A brief piece of feedback. I think locking atlas talent nodes that provide better access to pinnacle bosses from league mechanics behind getting access to those pinnacle bosses is a major problem with endgame progress.

I have 3 90+ characters and am approaching 600 hours played, and I am yet to find a single audience with the king, or face Olroth and the simulacrums and breachstones I've completed are ones I traded for.

It is kind of absurd that I can play for this long, and not have any access to this pinnacle content, and my best way of getting it is to buy the access with currency from other players until I've beaten it enough to spec into the points that make it reasonable to farm my own access.

POE1's atlas tree does this much better, where the base atlas tree that is progressed by regular mapping allows me to intentionally accelerate my journey towards specific league mechanic pinnacle content.

I have been intentionally farming ritual for a few weeks now, trying to get my first audience with the king without dropping 8+ divines on it, and I've gotten nowhere.

Pinnacle content should be something players pursue intentionally, and they should have the means to push their way to attempt it in a reasonable length of time. POE2 fails hard at that right now.

I just posted this on discussions, but I feel the same way (With much less time played than you).

An estimation of how much time it would take to get access one pinnacle content boss for the first time should not be "After 15h on this weekend, I will have a sixth of the work done!". And thats the less time consuming one, the others are worse (I don't even know what a citadel looks like).

I understand some pinnacle content being available only to 10h of playtime a day players, its part of the demographic for the game, but right now pinnacle content is easier to "farm" by farming currency.

"Players can choose which activity to engage with" but even choosing one does not give access to that pinnacle content in reasonable time.
