Insta death even though I have energy shield

Today I got blown up by something numerous times in a row even though I have energy shiled left. And yes I was not standing in that bubble thing which kills you after some time even though you have hp/en left. So pls can anyone help me waht to do?

if you took CI passive point and have mana flask, which have mod - recover mana from health, you will die on mana flask usage.

I don't have that kind of mana flask

For example:

I'm an Invoker Monk that runs with Ghost Shroud. If I happen to have bad luck and I get a latency spike while trying to dodge volatile plant projectiles, I usually end up dying because they are chaos damage. Despite this, it will show me with full ES, and that is because ghost shroud kicked in and restored it.

Im a sorcerer with stormweaver assencion, and I use the node which makes my hp 1 but I have nearly 7k energy shield. And for example I diead in a boss fight when something hit me and I lost my hp but more than 5k energy shield still left. I dont know what cause this, but its not an ordinary item on me. Because I did not changed my gear for a while and this thging happening recently.
