My feedback
Mostly good, patches have definitely made progression smoother. My biggest complaint/issue is inflation. I don't mind grinding for curruncy and gear, but it seems extremely hard to keep up with currency inflation in the game. For example, I purchase a Quarterstaff for 100 exalts, this was a third of my currency at the time and thought it was worth it. This help me get to level 87 and fairly deep into mapping, but I still had maybe 60000 damage on my Ice Strike skill. Youtube show players with 200k or more. So, I did some research and found out, I needed an upgrade on my weapon and the Ingenuity belt and really good jewels and rings. I used "Don the Crown's" weapon damage calculator to filter through the weapon in the trading side and soon found out, I needed to spend +40 divines to get a 10% upgrade and 300 divines to get weapon better than Don's. My weapon I bought 7 to 10 days ago for 100 exalts, would now sell for 2 to 3 divines. That's an increase of 825% in 10 days, or 82.5% per day. When I first looked at Ingenuity it was 1 divine for a 50%, now its 4 divines. My conclusion, we need an auction house and restrict trading to group drops. It would also be nice to swapout tablets in towers and change ascendancies. Thank you

Your conclusions have nothing to do with what came before.
An AH would increase the price of the items you are looking for dramatically because it reduces trading friction. The next part of your conclusion says restrict trading to group drops - wouldn't this make the AH pointless or am I misunderstanding your intention? Anyway, textbook why the dev's shouldn't listen to players is my takeaway from your post. |

If you restrict trading between players, then you need an AH, which will shutdown the trading sites, which will reduce inflation. Some players might still want to trade in a group setting. This way you can still trade group drops with your friends, but have to pay bots for currency to buy items. If you rather spend most of your time grinding for currency, waiting on other players to respond to your trade request, leave it the way it is. I much rather play the game, have some fun and be able to gather a normal amount of currency and purchase items instancely through an AH. I don't think Grinding Gears should just look after the top 5% of players playing there game, other players, who don't play 10 hours a day would also like to enjoy there game, but without certain item, you can't get near your full potention. If they don't want to listen to players like myself, then I will leave and so will a lot of players.
