Great game - Some suggestions

Overall I think this game is great and I disagree with some of the criticism. However, a game in early access is and should have room for improvement and these are my smaller icks that may or may not be easy to fix. Many (if not all) might've been mentioned before in this forum, in which I apologize if repeated.

- Waystone Tab
Obviously.

- Crossbow auto-aim
Worthless and in some instances horrible. Should be toggle-able or turned off entirely.

- Multiplayer performance and crashing
Something just feels off about playing in a party. Lagging and stuttering when being close to a party member, and performance overall just drops horribly. The fact that one cannot run through eachother also creates instances where blocking causes deaths. A smoother ability to run past one another without the stuttering and blocking would be appreciated, especially in narrow doorways and such. There should be no major benefits to playing in a team vs. alone but having the dreaded feeling of pain because of game-breaking limitations is not the way to go.

- Abilities with mouse and keyboard clicking on items
Not being able to attack when clicking on items on the ground is awful. Even when clicking on gold dropped several yards away, your attack won't respond. In endgame with high intensity situations this is just bad design. It should be range-specific so if you can pick the item up, then pick it up instead of attacking. If it requires you to run towards the item to pick it up, then attack should be enabled. On breaches and the like, the ground will be flooded with items even with a strict loot filter.

- Backtracking
Who thought maps with backtracking was ever a good idea? Do not be like Blizzard please. There is no better way to put off players than badly designed maps with dead ends all around.

- Atlas map improvements
Search or filter. Some way to navigate better. Ties back to the point above, as long as some maps are plain awful in design, having a way to filter them out is even an improvement.

- Passive tree "reset all"-button
Some times you just need to clear out the whole thing. Clicking 120 nodes shouldn't be necessary.

- Multiplayer increased range
Loot and XP range for multiplayer maps is too short. Especially since being close is a huge factor in downgrading performance and playability.

- When is a boss undamageable?
Some bosses have phases they need to get through. Fine. But maybe give a better indication of when that happens and they can't be damaged. Some animations when initiating a map boss could also be shorter.

- Spawn of stationary mobs
Some enemies needs to be initiated by being close before activating. Like the stone statue guys. Please make the animations faster. Really slows down the game when you need to just stand there and wait for them to come to life.

- ARPG's should be fast
Levers, doors and every thing that just requires you to stop, makes the game less fun if not made faster.

- Boulders, urns
Should be able to run through them. More stuttering movement in maps for no reason.

- Chests
Why are they there? Make them more rare and always drop a basic currency or whatever, but opening 20 chests in a map with no remarkable loot unless you're level 15 is just a waste of pixels. There should always be an incentive to open a chest.

- Stun threshold and other stats missing
Display calculations in-game. POB 2 can show how Stun Threshold is calculated, why not implement it in-game as well?

- Loot on death
It's fine not being able to loot when dying. Items you dropped yourself though, should not be locked away. In very rare instances one might in panic misclick and drop something one didn't mean to. Seems way too punishing for the clumsy ones.

- Collisions with enemies
Some times, and I don't know if intentional, if you run into mobs and keep trying to run through them, attacks are disabled or delayed for some reason. Being mobile in an ARPG should not punish you for trying to stay in motion. In this instance I'm not talking about when mobs collide with you.

- Collisions are sometimes too powerful
Maybe just me, but some collisions from mobs makes the game stutter while it pushes you what seem to be way too far off. Performance should be improved. Collisions are fine as long as it doesn't look like you teleport 5 times while being pushed.

- Is burning ground too punishing?
Or do I just need to git gud? Burns life or ES down in a rate that doesn't seem proportional to what you are actually doing, which is just run over some glares.

Those are my main points or irritations so far. Otherwise a great game that I enjoy neglecting my personal life for. Difficulty scales well for us n00bs and I enjoy having to actually improve in order to do the endgame content and not just walk over it with levelling quality gear.

(PS: For those who might think my PC is the issue around lag and stuttering, I run an i9-14900K and RTX 4090. If it can run Crysis @ 30 fps then it should be able to run PoE 2 @ 60)

Forgot one!

- Grim Feast
Grim Remnants should spawn instantly. Creates backtracking and running around in a loop to pick them up. This is a major issue for for instance Diablo where loot just drops too slow. Grim Remnants shouldn't count as loot and therefore spawn instantly on kill instead of creeping out of the ground after a second or so.
