Cannot access maps after dying in HC

I died while mapping in HC SSF (Level 71 RIP) and decided I wanted to play around with maps some more to get more experience, but I am unable to access the map device in either my hideout or in the Ziggurat refuge now that I am in SSF. I tried rebeating the final act 3 cruel boss, which did nothing. I tried logging into a different server, and nothing.
