EndGame World Map Navigation

The world map seems a bit cumbersome to navigate and I have a few QoL suggestions.

The pilars of light for citadels are great when there's a fog of war, but once the fog is cleared, the citadels blend into the map and depending on what's surrounding them, they can get hidden. It would be nice if these pilars of light would be larger so that they can stick out?

The map itself feels super busy. Would be great to have buttons on the side to turn effects such as rings, flames on towers, etc. on and off. Maybe even dim completed waypoints.

I would really like to see player placeable map markers that light up kind of like the citidels do. I'm envisioning a marker with some text to describe what the marker was placed for. I would personally use before logging off to say, hit these next so my old brain can remember what I was planning to do next after a long day of work.

I would also like to be able to zoom out farther since the more we play, the bigger the map gets making it it harder to navigate the map.
Alternatively, maybe have a smaller mini map that is scaled back so that it covers a super large area and we can scroll through that instead. (not sure I'm making sense here. I'm tired)

I would like to add: A Search bar / filter function.
Filter by map name.
Filter by Biome.
Filter by Completed or not.
Filter by map mod (Corrupt, Irradiated, Breach etc)
