Boneshatter feedback and improvement suggestions, specifically for Titan ascendency
Titan feels like it is supposed to be one of potentially multiple stun focused ascendancies, and Boneshatter is a easy to understand stun payoff skill. However as many people have already discussed at length, "Crushing Blows" granted by the "Crushing Impacts" ascendancy node directly interferes with using Boneshatter. This feels weird due to Titan having that Stun focused theme for 2 of the big Ascendancy nodes.
I have two ideas for Boneshatter/Titan that could potentially make Boneshatter usable with "Crushing Impacts" or give Boneshatter it's own niche. 1. When Crushing Impacts is allocated, Boneshatter can be used against heavy stunned targets to consume(?) the heavy stun and trigger the Boneshatter shockwave. This means you'll still need to use 2 skills, where one builds stun for Boneshatter to then trigger from, but it won't punish your ability to use Boneshatter by taking Crushing Impacts. I think this is the better suggestion of my two suggestions for ease of implementation and/or possibly of balance. 2. Crushing Impacts makes Boneshatter a sort of "Meta" like skill where you can socket it into another Strike skill, and that other strike skill will gain the +2 Strike range and also the Shockwave effect from Boneshatter. The other strike skill would still be allowed to build stun. This would still let someone use the Boneshatter heavy stun shockwaves and maybe make some neat build opportunities with combining Boneshatter with different strike skills.
