No boss book points after killing 79 lvl boss

I've killed a boss on XV map and got no boss book dropped.
Map says that mobs are 79 lvl, and I should recieve points as i kill it, although I'm still 2/10 in atlas :(

Both atlas points invested in difficulty nodes.

Previously, as I've encountered my first 79lvl boss, I've slain two bosses at once (it spawned two, I guess it's normal), and it dropped TWO BOOKS. When I've picked them up, the inventory said I only had 1, not two. I guess, it might be connected.

I've slain two bosses after that (the above one is the third total encounter), although I've recieved only two points, instead of 4+ that I should :(

Yep, and difficulties seem to have no effect on the points drop

As far as I am aware, boss atlas tree books don't drop from every boss. It's a random drop. I think I killed at least 30-40 bosses before I had all my boss atlas points. Might have been more.

The difficulty from the atlas passives doesn't affect the boss book drops.

You get them as follows:

Level 79 boss (Tier 15)
Level 80 boss (Tier 15 + either irradiated or corrupted)
Level 81 boss (Tier 15 + both irradiated and corrupted)
Level 82 boss (Tier 16 + both irradiated and corrupted)
The arbiter


You can also mix and match the +1 map level effects as you would like. For example you can get the second set from a Tier 16 map instead of an irradiated tier 15.
You can even go early and get the first set on a Tier 13 as long as the map is corrupted and irradiated.

You need higher tier map AND +difficulty in the tree.

So next 2 points for you will be level 80 boss(T15 + irradiated or coalescence, or T16) AND +1 difficulty in the tree.


The last 2 points you get from arbiter.

The second last 2 points you need +4 difficulty in the tree (You cant spec straight up, you have to put extra points on the sides for + to difficulty) and level 82 boss(Tier 16 corrupted map from vaal orb + irradiated + coalescence corruption from atlas)
