Trial of Sekhamas

This is the 2nd time now, the only 2 times ive died in them but my game wont let me continue or anything just stays stuck on the "you failed at whatever room" screen and i have to close PoE2 and restart. Which in doing so my relics and tokens i used to open the trial just disappear into the void i assume. And its not like i took in my bad relics, im still newish i only have a few. Also once wasnt awareded ascendancy points on a trial i completed that said i was supposed to get them. I am on PC.
