Sekhemas Major Boons: Crystal Shard has no effect

As title.

I got Crystal Shard(The next Affliction you gain is converted into a random Minor Boon) first, then I went into a room that gave me a minor affiction: Shattered Shield(You have no Energy Shield).

As Crystal Shard description, I should get a minor boon instead of Shattered Shield.

But I still got Shattered Shield, and Crystal Shard still in my boons list.
