Ping numbers are never shown in server list, just "?"

I only see "?", and never see numbers, under the ping column in the server listing.

It always looks exactly like this, and in the same order.

(But once I'm in-server, the F1 latency graph works as expected.)

System info: Steam, Linux Mint, Wifi, laptop, generic firewall settings and router setup.
